Gene:
Here's my public appreciation for your very FB master of ceremonies at the
Green Country meeting of the OKDXA. Very thorough and informative.
Thanks for your efforts and preparation.

It was great seeing such a nice crowd at the OKDXA meeting at Green
Country Hamfest. I expected the scheduling conflict with the ARRL forum
would cut into our numbers but I didn't really see that in evidence very
much.
Granted the room wasn't all that big but we were "standing room only"
nearly! Thank you to every one of you who attended!
I want to take this opportunity to thank the following people for
renewing their memberships in the OKDXA or joining for the first time:
Mike Elliott - N5XR
Jim Pickett - K5LAD
Mac Macdonald - K2GKK
Judy Macdonald - KA5BJS
Dan Woods - W5BM
David Wolf - K5DCW
Steve Duskin - NE5SD
Larry Russell - K5ZCJ
Wayne Rumley - WA5YNE
Ray Richardson - WB5JJA
Tim Duffy - K3LR
I have subscribed all the new members to the OKDXA mailing list and I
welcome you to post your comments on there having to do with club
events, activities, or DX activities.
Some of you already know this but, for the sake of those that didn't
hear, my son passed both the Tech and General exams at the VE testing
session at Green Country Saturday afternoon.
He's now anxiously awaiting his callsign assignment. Needless to say
I'm very proud of him and delighted that he "took the plunge" into this
wonderful hobby of ours. If any of you feel like
firing off an email to him to congratulate him or share your words of
wisdom or advice, please do so. ryan.a.lewis101984 at gmail.com
73 to all and see you in the pileups.
