[OKDXA] OKDXA meeting - Green Country Hamfest

It was great seeing such a nice crowd at the OKDXA meeting at Green 
Country Hamfest.  I expected the scheduling conflict with the ARRL forum 
would cut into our numbers but I didn't really see that in evidence very 
much.
Granted the room wasn't all that big but we were "standing room only" 
nearly!  Thank you to every one of you who attended!

Some of you already know this but, for the sake of those that didn't 
hear, my son passed both the Tech and General exams at the VE testing 
session at Green Country Saturday afternoon.
He's now anxiously awaiting his callsign assignment.  Needless to say  
I'm very proud of him and delighted that he "took the plunge" into this 
wonderful hobby of ours.  If any of you feel like
firing off an email to him to congratulate him or share your words of
