[OKDXA] Fwd: FT5ZM - forward from Coy, N5OK

If I can hear them on 80 m, I should be able to work them. My vertical dipole is pretty effective on 80 m for DX but terrible stateside (I have an inverted V for that). My biggest problem is rx antennas: I have K9AY loops and they certainly help, but not equal (by far) to a pair of 1.5 wavelength Beverages. Coy has an LP array that he can use on the WARC bands, and that helps a lot. I have only a rotatable trapped dipole for the WARC bands; the difference between that and my KT34A on 20-15-10 and significant.

I think Gene worked them om 80, but I don't know how. I have devoted 
several (hard) hours (so far) but no joy as of yet. They had a good 
signal both in the evening and the morning. I am still chasing on 12, 
30, 80, and 160. Listened last night on 160, but they were dirt weak here.
