It’s that time of year again and we’re well underway with the planning 
of the *2014 Green Country Hamfest!*
This is the *100^th year Anniversary for the ARRL* and the *Green 
Country Hamfest* has been chosen as the *2014* *ARRL West Gulf Division 
Convention*.(Downloadable flyer at:

*With your club members help we can make this a very special Green 
Country Hamfest!*
In past years we have offered a FREE display table for your Green 
Country Amateur Radio Club. This is our way of saying *thank you* for 
the support of your members volunteering to help during the Green 
Country Hamfest – this will again be the case. In addition to the FREE 
club display table, your club can rent the flea market table(s) directly 
behind your club's display table so your club/members can sell their 
cherished boat anchors, and valuable items.

Your club’s FREE display table has already been reserved. This is a 
great opportunity for clubs to recruit new members as well as show other 
hams how much fun club members in green country are having.
*Don’t forget to reserve those extra flea market tables. **You can do

This is a special year and we really need to show off Green Country 
Amateur Radio.
*Let’s do something special with your clubs table*.Decorate your table 
with a colorful club banner, club activity displays, storyboard, club 
flyers, club projects, club photos, club videos, and of course your 
members there at the table to make every club table special for the 
100^th year celebration.
Again this year,*we also need loads of volunteer help!* RCWA has already 
offered to provide golf cart drivers… We’re still in need of lots of 
door greeters, helpers for the entry/ticket table at back door 
(especially on Friday). W*e need volunteers for both Friday and 
Saturday. **Volunteer and win a Prize!***Each volunteer that helps to 
fill a work spot for a minimum of two (2) hours will be entered into a 
special Green Country Hamfest *Volunteer Prize drawing* – This year’s 
volunteer prize is a Yaesu *FT-7900R 2 Meter / 70 cm Dual Band FM 
Transceiver!*
*Please have your members that would like to volunteer for two hours or 
more, contact me so that I may add their name to our volunteer list.*
