[OKDXA] That was unexpected...

I just turned on the rig and listened for FT5ZM. I only have them on 20
and 40. I didn't hear anything on 17 or 30 m CW and so tried 15 m. Nice
signal, seems best at around 60 deg. I fired up the amp, tuned it up and
decided I'd program my call in the keyer (an ancient KC-1 that I dearly
love) on the fly and send my call over the air. I can tune the pile-up
and I'm near where he's been working others. I send my call once and
terminate the memory program thinking I'm all set. Well, I'm more than
all set: I'm done for 15 m! I hear "N5OP" from him, I send "TU 599" and
now have them on 15, 20 and 40!

I guess it really is better to be lucky than good...
