Our next door neighbor is 4 miles away! Very quiet here! only 8100 people
in whole county! Over half the county is National Forest and the paper
companies own a lot of what is left. So it is very sparsely populated.

FROM K5RKS 1245UTC 30 Nov
I wasn't sure I worked VU7AG yesterday on 17M CW or not. I just looked at
his online log. It has been updated up to about 0300UTC 30Nov.
I am NOT in his log on 17m. Normally, if I'm sure I worked the DX then I'm
in his log. If there is the slightest doubt because the DX is wiped out due
to guys calling on his freq, etc. then I don't end up in his log. I've heard
worse, but his 17m CW operation was quite a zoo due to DXers not using
discipline and calling out of turn and calling him on his own frequency.
His best opening into Oklahoma on 17m is from about 1400 to 1700UTC. I might
try again to work him today on 17m. Unlike 12m and 15m, his 17m propagation
between 1400UTC and 1700UTC can be either short path, or long path, or both.
