CW Skimmer is a computer program that uses a SDR receiver to copy CW and
report what it hears - over an entire CW band.
Congrats to OKDXA member, Dave, NE5S for installing the first CW Skimmer in
Oklahoma. Dave is using a Perseus SDR receiver at the Citadel in OKC with a
Mosley TA-33 tri-band antenna for 20 meters only. You can see the last CW
stations as heard by the NE5S Skimmer, here:

<http://www.reversebeacon.net/dxsd1/dxsd1.php?f=0&c=ne5s&t=de> &c=ne5s&t=de
So even if you do not work CW, the spot data from the Skimmer tells you
where the 20 meter band is open to from OKC. The list automatically updates
every minute.
1000 miles away to the northeast, there are six Perseus receivers at K3LR
(with stacked Yagi antennas) using CW Skimmer (six computers). The rack
looks like this:

You can see all six bands at K3LR and what they have heard recently here:

<http://www.reversebeacon.net/dxsd1/dxsd1.php?f=0&c=K3LR&t=de> &c=K3LR&t=de
The list updates every minute.
