Hi, All:

Greetings from SW MO.

Gene has been a busy fellow! The new call should be attractive in WPX
contests.

Bill, N5TU

I wanted to let everyone know that I recently applied for a club station
license for the Oklahoma DX Association. As far as I know, the club has
never held a callsign. The initial callsign assignment was KF5TJL. I
immediately applied for and received the vanity callsign NE5OK.
I thought this would be a very good way to get our club a good bit more
exposure. I'm hoping to use the call in some of the contests that take
place throughout the year. I think it will be an especially desirable call
during the contests where people are looking to work OK specifically and, of
course, it'll lend itself quite well to the WPX contests. There might be
special times or events that some of you would like to use the call as well.
73 and see you in the pileups.
Gene
