You should *definitely* get yourself up a beam before January!
My own personal view is that a TH7 wouldn't be my antenna of choice.
It's only a tri-bander and it's $900.
You can buy a Tennadyne T8 Log Periodic, which is relatively small (18
foot boom) and covers 20 meters through 10 meters, including the WARC
bands, for $800.
I use a HyGain Long John, 205CA, on 20 meters, so I bought the T7 version,
which covers 17 meters through 10 meters, and I have used that antenna for
several years now and have been very satisfied with its performance.
Just my two cents worth.
