Everyone,
Alan, N5PA, approached me at the banquet and asked if he could become involved in the website.  I was extremely appreciative of his offer.  All my HTML skills, which are novice at best, are self-taught.  That's why I've kept the website so basic.  Alan, on the other hand, is a bona fide website developer.  It's what he does.  Therefore it is with great pleasure that I announce to you that you will soon see a greatly improved website.  Alan is working on creating new pages right now and we'll be transitioning to them as they become available.  It will be a work-in-progress for a while.
Everyone please join me in welcoming and thanking Alan to the role of the Webmaster of the OKDXA.net website.  Thanks, Alan!
Now, in that vein, he has asked for a couple of things.  He was asking if anyone in the club happens to have a good clean OKDXA logo.  He thinks the one we presently have on the website is probably a scan and it's not as clean as he'd like to see it.  Also, he asked for a history of the club.  I told him this would be a daunting task and that all I could do is solicit input from all the members to tell us what they know.  So, please, everyone tell us what you know as far as when the club was formed, what persons have held what offices, during what years, etc.  Every bit of information you can provide will help him fill in the blanks.
