Connie,
With a little adjustment, I will skip Stephens and Grady and cut north
sooner to try to hit Blaine. When I get to Geary or Watonga, I'll decide
whether to go north to Major or cut west through Kingfisher and Logan toward
home. Will depend on time and weather. Woods and Alfalfa will likely be
too far . I will really miss having my son drive. If he were here we
could probably go further north. I'm in my motel room in Elk City now and
will be rested up to start first thing here in Beckham.
I will definitely do 20 and 40 CW and phone, possibly 15 if there is enough
interest, but with only 2 ham stick mounts, it's a pain to do a 3rd band.
Looking forward to a fun weekend.

Hi Al,
We still need CW coverage of Woods, Alfalfa, Major, and Blaine.
I'm going to try and do it but may not make it because of covering the NE.

Subject: N5UM Rover Route
I don't have a very solid plan this year, but I want to cover the SW part of
the state. I'll be driving out to Elk CIty this evening (Friday) so I can
get a start first thing in the morning in Beckham County. From there, will
try to hit the following, but may miss some: Harmon, Greer, Jackson, Kiowa,
Tillman, Comanche, Stephens, Grady, Caddo, Canadian. I am back to going
unassisted this year (my son isn't available to drive for me this time), so
I won't be able to operate while in motion. If I run my entire route with
time to spare on Saturday, I'll try to hit more counties west of Oklahoma
City. I may do a bit more roving on Sunday somewhere, depending on the
weather. If the weather goes bad, I'll try to get on Sunday from home in
Oklahoma County.
