John,
I have owned a 746Pro and a 756ProIII and both were excellent cw radios.
They performed very well in strong signal, very crowded conditions. I
used both in 160 meter contests (very noisy, very strong/weak signals,
very crowded band) without issue. I have used (slightly) better radios
in that regard, but the difference is typically negligible. Also, you
cannot beat the ergonomics, reliability, and ease of operation. Those
radios are a pleasure to use.
