Down here near Stratford we thought something was blowing up... sounded like
an explosion and shook things up a bit. (about 40 m south)

Felt it here in Owasso too (~100 miles NE). We have a quarry about 2 miles
south. They usually blast at 10am on Wednesdays so my first thought was
they were blasting an hour early. It shook the house but the ground rumbled
much longer after the initial jolt than when they blast. No damage up this
way either. Glad you didn't have any down there.
You're right. VERY weird and interesting!

Now, with earthquakes.

This is VERY near my QTH (~3/4 mile to the epicenter) and I was home
when it let go.
My first. VERY interesting.
No damage, fortunately.
Like the EF4 tornado that passed 1/2 mile north last spring, we dodged
the bullet again.
