Thought I would pass along the latest on Jerry's condition.

I called Carol a few minutes ago to wish them a Happy Thanksgiving and to
ask how Jerry was doing.  She didn't have any good news for us.  Jerry has
continued to go down hill physically.  He continues to lose weight and at
this point doesn't have a lot to lose.  He is still in a care facility and
doesn't get out much.

He recently had a pacemaker/defibrilator installed but so far it hasn't
helped much.  I'm sure it was a hard blow for him when the doctor told him
"no more amateur radio".  I guess they haven't improved the devices much. 
Looks like that shouldn't be an issue with the advances in technology.

Keep Jerry and his family in your prayers as they go through this holiday
season.
