[OKDXA] Ice Storm

I was hoping when all was said and done that my antennas would spring back
and everything would be "peachy" again, but it was not to be.
I looked up today to see if the ice had melted and fallen off, which it
had for the most part, but I also discovered that one of the front
elements on my Tennadyne T-7 log periodic is still bent, not horribly,
but bent nevertheless. I also noticed that the back 2 elements on my
HyGain 205-CA 20-meter monobander are skewed. It almost appears that a
bolt sheared holding that section of boom, allowing it to twist, based on
the fact that they're both skewed by the exact same amount.
Neither will keep me off the air, but I'm sure I'll have a degraded signal
until I can get the repairs made, which is going to have to wait a while.
Amazingly, both my 160 and 80 inverted vee's stayed up and I even used the
160 vee over the weekend to make some contacts during the contest.
The Gap Titan vertical also seems to have survived without any damage as
far as I can tell.
My sympathy to all of you who were victimized by the ice!
Gene
