[OKDXA] W5 Incoming QSL Bureau

Hi All,

I'm making one last plea to keep the W5 bureau in the OKDXA before some
other organization takes it over.

We need someone to step forward and take it over.  The problem is that it
is a lot of work.  Jerry made it look easy and for him maybe it was.  In
fact it is a lot of work.  It entails keeping a large PO Box and traveling
to pick up the mail which at times is in large boxes/mail bags.  You have
to organize some folks fairly close to you to help do the presorting. 
This gets stacks of cards to the point of mailing/delivering to the letter
sorters, one for each letter of the alphabet.  Most of the letters already
have someone assigned but this is also a group that you have to recruit 
as they quit, retire, etc.

You also have to keep envelopes on file for those that wish.  Some send
envelopes, some cash and you prepare envelopes from stock that you keep. 
Some bureaus no longer accept envelopes, only cash.  That keeps the
envelopes standard and helps with the filing.

There are others issues such as what to do when the Post Office increases
its rates, which is often any more.  I'm sure there are things I've
forgotten but these are the basics.

If you or you and a group of friends are interested in taking the bureau
please let me know soon.  We can't leave the bureau in limbo much longer.
