Thank you dear God or is that God the Father for that terrific idea on how to keep radio parts from getting wet!. Religious names confuse me sometimes. I have to rely on my friend Coy to help me along in those circles. He is known in his family as a warrior.
Blessings upon you, whatever kind of god you are.
Your friend Jerry

Hi Jerry!
I'm very happy to hear that you're getting better. You do what the docs tell you, and don't get crazy about anything anymore! Once we reach our ages, we don’t have to do anything anymore, and we don’t even need an excuse. You take care of yourself!!!!!
The thing with the pills is an unfortunate manifestation of Father Time doing his job. I take so many pills a day (mostly supplements, but some prescription stuff as well) I have a spreadsheet and computer alerts to help me manage them. One good thing I can think results from all of th ese pills is that I have a lot of nice bottles to store my bits and pieces of ham radio related stuff. You stick a piece of Velcro on the cap, and the opposing piece of Velcro on the underside of a shelf, and bingo – a nice convenient place for the little stuff.
And the pills are one of the measures of realizing that my life is slipping by more quickly than I would like. I replenish the daily compartments in my pill boxes every two weeks. It seems as though this task is happening every fourth or fifth day however! Another measure is taking out the trash every Thursday afternoon – I could swear I’m doing it every other day!
I’ve added a couple of thoughts for you at the end of the email.
I’m also including some pics of where I stand with the shack. Take a look and let me know what you think if you get a minute. This is still a work in progress.
Agn – pls take care of yourself! I expect to see you at Dayton and Plano next year …

K5XA John Guida
