Subject: [lsdxa] DXCC Checking at HamCom 2009
Just a short note to re-confirm that besides checking active DXCC
entities, the checker volunteers will be able to check cards for 160m and
deleted entities at the HamCom Lone Star DX Association booth.
Please note the hours posted in the HamCom flyer are wrong. We will
break for lunch on both Friday and Saturday. We will have a strong staff of
volunteers Friday so let's get her done on Friday if you can.
Checking Saturday morning is in conflict with the incredible array of LSDXA
W5DXCC programs. It will be the checkers prerogative to attend these
programs Saturday morning and we ask your understanding if the DXCC checking
booth is lean or even inactive during this time. Finally Dave Sumner, K1ZZ
will be in our LSDXA booth Saturday afternoon after 2pm. Any issues the
DXCC volunteer checker staff cannot handle will need to be discussed and
resolved with Dave at that time.
You need to bring your own forms, filled out properly, and cards sorted
per the application instructions. The volunteer checkers will not have
forms. Download what you need from;

Please remember to bring your check, money order, or credit card as cash
will not be accepted. That being said, the basic rates are as follows

Fee Structure for DXCC Applications at HamCom 2009
This form will help you determine what fees you MAY be charged (assuming no
cards need to go to the ARRL). Please remember that in some cases more than
one fee may apply, as in the case where an applicant goes over 120 QSOs or,
if someone makes a submission and is expecting paperwork as well as a
certificate.
You will note that this form does not match rule 15. It is not meant to.
Rule 15 covers DXCC fees and postage is not a DXCC fee but applicants are
still responsible for all postage to and from ARRL. The incremental postage
fee for HamCom will be $3.00 per applicant.
---
Submission fees noted below are based on 120 QSOs. Remember, submissions
exceeding 120 QSOs must add 15 cents for each additional QSO (not card)
