John and Doug et al:
From a mobile perspective it was much fun. At first, with the Russian
contest on I thought we would get
buried but by 9:30 or so 20 seemed to make room for us. 20 and 40 were
both quite good. This year I
worked Europe from almost all 22 counties we covered so I believe 20 was in
fair shape.
Activity was up a bit I believe John - it may well be because of the Year
of the State QSO Party. On the
other hand I'd like to think Oklahoma's 77 counties are fun to work! I
know of several out of staters that
came within 1 or 2 of making a sweep and it looks like N6MU did do another
sweep this year. I understand
John, N6MU had 71 worked by Saturday evening! Great job with a vertical
and low power in California.
