Agrees with Bob K5SM. AND we can expect more digital modes to come. Where
does it end ???
Sorry to say Laura and I won't make HamCom this year. My 50th HS reunion
is this weekend here
in Tulsa. Hope to see some messages about the happenings in Plano. Go get
'em on the pileup
copying contest Jerry. Ya'll have fun and post some info on the
happenings.. This will be the first
HamCom I/we have missed in a decade. See ya next year.

Re: [OKDXA] DXCC Digital Awards

Coy, I believe we have enough versions of the DXCC award as it is. It
is my belief that the existing practice of counting all digital modes as
RTTY is the most practical approach. I would also support changing the
name of the RTTY award to digital, but I know that would ruffle lots of
feathers. After all, all text based digital modes are RTTY even if they
do not use the Baudot code and two tones.
