Coy,
I agree with Bob. A digital mode is a digital mode is a digital mode. RTTY is a digital mode, as is PSK31, Hellschriber, Olivia, MT63, MFSK16, etc. If we make a special digital mode DXCC non-inclusive of RTTY, then pretty soon people will want one for PSK only, and so on.
