John,

Conditions were nothing short of fantastic for stateside, Carribean, and
Central America. I heard several weak Europeans, but was only able to
work 2 CTs running 100w. Only heard a couple JAs, ones I am normally
able to work with 100w, but they could not hear me. Was on for about 5
hours and made 244 qs (12 dx, 78 multipliers, 67 sections). 100w to my
short shunt fed, top loaded tower w/ground screen.

Sunday evening, western European stations were S9 for about an hour
around 7:00 p.m. local time.

Looking forward to playing on 10 meters this weekend. Hoping hard for
sun spots.

I heard a total of 11 countries on (much more than I have ever heard before) and worked 2 new countries on the topband-ZF and 6Y. Also worked PJ2 and HC8 although I already have those confirmed on 160. Also worked VT for state #46 on 160. Overall, had a blast in the contest doing what I could with what I have.
