Website still seems to be sticking with abt 0900z as the QRT  
time........................
 
Let's say it's been one of the most challenging spots to work. I've noticed  
that central and eastern Africa provide distinctly unique problems from the 
Lily  Pad. Anything in the Pacific is duck soup. Gratefully I hv a few in that 
area  still to work...............
 
I tried on 3 separate occasions to work the 9X boys on 40m. The Lids and  
Jammers on a couple occasions made any such attempt futile, but last night they  
were very copyable. So with today being the end of the road, nothing 
worthwhile  on the ole tuber till 9, I put on the ear phones and dug in.
 
It prob took me over 2 hrs to log him. I can't remember a single instance  
where I've ever spent that much time chasing a station, with maybe the exception 
 being the 3Y0 guy on Bouvet in 1974. (Never did bag him) Still need Bouvet 
to  this day.
 
I'm looking for the same type of chlorophyll laced performance on  
FR/G................But if I can log them just once them I'll be a  happy 
bugcatcher................................
