I worked Clipperton (FO0AAA) on March 4, 2000.  That was just after I moved
here from Oklahoma and I did not have much of a station.  I do not know if I
even had the vertical up at the old house or not.  I do not think I had the
tower up and the Force 12 online until 2003.  But I worked 200 countries on
100 watts, a vertical and some dipoles.  My next challenge is to get the
AL-1500 in line so I can run 500-700 watts.  That will help on the transmit
side, anyway.  The vertical will take 750 watts on CW and 1500 PEP on phone.
I do not have any trees at the new house to hang dipoles off of so I am
going to have to put up some kind of pole to do that with.  I do not think
my neighbors care for the vertical, either.
