What a pisser.  No other thrift shops run by a church group or animal 
rescue kinda' thing? Tulsa is loaded with thrift shops sponsored by a 
wide variety of NPO's... Maybe you should start your own non profit, 
something important sounding like the Frogs Assisting Retarded Tadpoles 
Society. Could work until someone abbreviated it...

BTW: In the Tulsa metro the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month is senior 
discount day. 25% off almost everything in the store for the geezerly 
55+ crowd. The only thing they hold back are high-end ladies wear and 
some jewelry. Otherwise it's $3.75 VCR day.

As for the microwave... Repairing things like that tend to involve 
pulling the cover(s), unsnaping the front panel, looking for the 
membrane keypad PC board on four screws and a ribbon cable. Fairly easy 
fix if you have the part, could be a case where if you pulled the keypad 
and hosed it down with WD-40 the contacts might clean up well enough to 
start working again. Considering the usual kitchen pollution it could 
also be as simple as unplugging ribbon cables and giving the connectors 
a shot of WD.

The smoke & steam from refried flies and larvae lasagna can play hell 
with electrical contacts over time...
