Bummer. Sounds like a strike I had in the late 80s in Bartlesville. I 
kept finding damage for years. All telephone wiring in the house was 
fused together....garage door opener died, all newer telephones died. 
Lost several runs of coax, two tv sets and 2 vcrs...can't remember what 
all. Crazy stuff. Ham gear okay...all disconnected from wall and 
antennas...by seconds...but that is the rest of the story.
