Hello Everyone -
At the Central Oklahoma Radio Amateurs, Inc. (CORA) meeting yesterday the
subject came up as to whether OKDXA would like to join CORA, again. It is
my understanding that OKDXA was a member club many years ago.
CORA attempts to represent all Oklahoma amateur radio operators - the more
members clubs, the greater representation, and hopefully the greater good
that can be done. CORA has no dues and all it takes to become a member club
is to request such and the current member clubs vote to accept or reject. I
am not aware of any club ever being rejected.
For more information on CORA you can go to www.hamholiday.org. The
Aeronautical Center Amateur Radio Club (ACARA) is member club and the CORA
web page is in the process of being updated to show this.
If you have any questions you can contact me or any of the CORA officers or
member club representatives.
Thank you.
Dave (NE5S)
