Okay, I'll throw this up to the group..

Are there any relatively Rare counties in OK that aren't way out on the
panhandle?

I can work voice down to 80 mtrs and would make a day of it if it didn't
take a tank to get there and a tank back!

Seems like only yesterday that the '96 Dodge Van blew it's engine in Carter
County!

This year's Oklahoma QSO Party will be March 8 and 9. Admittedly last
year's will be hard to beat what with special QSLs and Mugs for your
favorite drink but nonetheless this is your invitation to light up your
mobile rig or be on at home from your county.

If you plan to operate please send details to Gene, w5le at wildblue.net so he
can include on the activity page.

There have been a number of out of state inquiries into the condition of
our roads, watering holes and in general willingness to allow foreigners to
roam our roads during the running. I have responded by telling them as
long as they leave within 24 hours of completion we welcome their visit. I
did tell them waivers are possible if they have vehicle trouble!
