This under the OOOPS! category.  When we arrived at the Hometown Buffet at
around 11:15 we found a note on the door saying they were closed.  So we
waited on the others to decide where we would go.  We ended up at the
Golden Corral which is just West and across the highway.  We had a good
time and enjoyed the different menu.

One of the employees there told us that Hometown Buffet had gone out of
business.  Not sure what we are going to do at lunch now but everyone
there enjoyed the Golden Corral.
