[OKDXA] Low band season report

It's been a good season for me too.

160 - FO-C, KP2, OE, VP6-D  using my 80 inverted vee.

80 - 3V, 3X, 4L, 4Z, 5A, 5B, 5T, 5W, 8P, 9A, C5, C6, CE, CT3, CX, D4,
E4, EA, EA6, EA8, EI, ES, F, FG, FJ, FM, GJ, GM, HB0, HC8, HI, HK0, HP,
I, J5, J6, KH2, LA, LZ, OH0, OL, OZ, P4, PA, PJ2, PY, PZ, S5, SM, SV,
T32, T9, TI9-C, UA, V4, V7, VK, VP2-M, VP6-D, VP6, YL, YN, YO, YS, YV,

Can you tell I concentrated on 80?

40 - 1A, 3DA, 3V, 4U, 5B, 5R, 5T, 5X, 9J, 9M6, 9X, A6, C3, CE, CX, D2,
D4, DU, EA6, ER, ET, EW, EY, FJ, FO-C, FR-R, FY, GJ, HC8, HL, IS0, J2,
J3, J5, LU, LX, OH, OK, ON, OX, SM, SV, SV9, T32, T9, TF,TI9-C, TN, UA,
UA0, V4, V8, VP5, VP6, VP6-D, YB, YS, ZB2, ZK3

30- FO-C, J5, VP6-D

After this season spent filling out 80m, I only have 10m to go for 5
band DXCC.  Started the low band season with only about 40 or so worked
on 80.

The most unusual contact this year was working V51AS on 10m during the
CQWW CW.  Happened during an opening that only lasted about 10 minutes.
Doubt I'll ever see a card from him though.

I generally consider the low band season to be from
October 1 to March 31, and must say that now that it
is over, this past fall/winter was excellent here for
the low bands.  Here are the new band countries I
worked on each band over that time period:

160m: VP6D

80m: LU, EA6, 4O, OA, VP6D, LZ, V7, FO-P, CE, PZ, T7,
5T

40m: KH2, KH0, VP6D, FO-C 5R, FJ, CP, 5T

30m: VP6D, FO-C, CE, J5, 8P, OA, FJ

I just wanted 1 new band country on 80m to hit 100,
and as you can see, this winter was much better than
that.

Rig-Yaesu FT100D at 100 watts
Antenna-Homebrew G5RV type dipole at 30 feet or so
