I usually put down about 50 temporary radials. I have
been using it for abt 8 or 10 years and have tried
several variations with several different beams on
top. It has aways had a very wide band width which
does not make sense. Right now it is flat across the
entire band. I have discussed it with several 160m
"experts" and they say they have seen that happen in
some cases and to just forget it and use it if it
works. It works good for what it is - a short
vertical. I had an inverted L that worked about the
same. I have 150 confirmed with it.
