[OKDXA] Antennas and Tower Down

Guys:

While you were all having fun at the Green Country Hamfest we were busy down
here taking down my antennas and tower.  It was in the upper 30's when we
got started Saturday morning and warmed up into the middle 60's by the
middle of the afternoon.  The antennas came down easily but it was a good
thing I had a Tower Jack because we had to use it on every section to pry
them apart.  We started about eight that morning and finished about five
that evening.  The most important thing was that nobody got hurt and it was
done safely.  Tomorrow evening I am using a cutting torch to get my guy
posts and the remaining tower section cut off just below the ground level.
I would like to hear from someone about the OKDXA meeting and how it went.
