BTW: The international space station took a lap over Oklahoma last night @ 9:22 PM and I went outside to watch. Wasn't much to see, visualize a brighter than normal star moving from horizon to horizon in less than three minutes. But, it was a good demonstration of why sat and space shuttle contacts tend to be brief. Think about the typical VHF / UHF setup intended to throw as much RF toward the horizon as possible and the time across the major lobes is very, very brief.

I also noticed that it was definitely brighter at its zenith than at either end of the arc... Considering the look angle there is more atmosphere at the lower elevation(s) and that was obvious to the eye. Dude sure does move, too...
