[OKDXA] Impending Ice Storm

Yeah, I]m in the middle, too. I fear I'm going to see similar stuff 
to your pictures here. I'm curious as to whether you had much wind 
during the storm -- I don't recall much about that event, other than 
we dodged the bullet in the Norman area. Also, any idea as to how 
much ice it took to bring them down? I' assuming that they failed 
well before the ice was over. I'm guessing that much over an inch or 
so will do in my 40 m beam. The KLM may take a bit more -- maybe 1.5" 
or so, before it fails. Should the wind blow much, I'll bet it'll 
take less ice to destroy the antennas. And, I believe that we're 
expecting some significant winds later in the event. Yee-haw.

I hate ice: snow by the foot, or even sleet, I'll happily deal with, 
but ice is bad for everything.
