Guys:

I did not work any of the 160 meter contest here because of the storms.
They were very severe here and we had a lot of limbs down and a lot of rain.
The thunder and wind shook the house but we did not sustain any damage. But
it was enough to keep me off of 160 meters this weekend because of all the
QRN.

I did make 19 contacts for two new mode countries and 18 new band countries.
All of these were from 75 through 12 meters. I cannot believe how strong
the DX was on some of the bands. 9K2HN was 20 over S9 last night on 75
meters and VK9DNX was very strong early yesterday morning on 30 meters. Of
course I worked Burundi on a lot of bands as I did Comoros and they were
easy to work. It was fun to work all of the DX but I would have loved to
work the 160 meter test. Did any of you guys work the 160 meter test this
weekend? How did you do?

73,
Alan, N5PA
