John:
Yes, I need them on 160, 30, 10, and 6 meters. They are definitely workable
for here during the summer 6 meter season but not in the middle of February
at the bottom of the solar cycle. That severe storm that had the tornadoes
in New Orleans came through here and the static on 160 meters was worse than
then middle of the summer. I was really hoping to pick them up on 160
meters. They were 40 over S9 here on 80 meters so it was easy to work.
They are still 1950 miles from here but they were booming. I am wondering
if they were using a Titanex on 160 and 80. I might send them an e-mail at
some point and find out. They sure were strong on the low bands. Next
month I will be hunting Spratly and then the next month Scarborough Reef. I
have 24 more to go to have them all worked so they are getting far and few
between here.

Hi Alan,
I also worked them on 17m for a new band
country-forgot that one. They were really booming in
here on 75m. Not sure what they were running there
but it worked. I could still use YV0 on 12, 10, and
160. And 6m would sure be nice, and within E skip
distance of Oklahoma.
