Hi, Ken:
Congratulations from me, too. I'll have my 50th anniversary in ham radio in
early August (started as KN8HGU). That should give seven of us about 330
years collectively. :-o
Now if the WX will cooperate, I can get back to work on my antenna system.
73,
Bill, N5TU

I just got back and read the comments.
Between 5 of you and me, there are about 280 years of ham radio. That's
quite a few years.
Gene, Lynn got into radio so we could stay in touch while she was in HS and
I went on to college. The phone worked far better.
Coy, I knew about your daughter being a ham, but not about your son.
Congrats!
Rick, sorry about the 30/9 noise. I went out to my 160 acres today (very
remote and almost nobody around) and it is S0 for noise. It is also high
and sloping down over about 270 degrees, with the other 90 degrees sloping
up ever so slightly. I'd love to build a decent antenna on it. Sure beats
STW and definitely beats 30/9. The noise is what really got to Mark Byard -
it was like whack-a-mole. He'd get one thing fixed and another would pop
up.
Doug, you are definitely still a pup. Gee, only 37 years a ham and 51 years
old. I think I was that age once. Don't recall for sure.
Jerry, I haven't given Lynn your comment yet! Joking about age 3 - and yet
haven't I read about a couple of 5-year olds becoming hams?
Thanks to all!
73 Ken K5KC
