Well, just so you know that it is possible, I got 160 Meter DXCC #230 in 
1987 from Oklahoma.  A lot of those countries were worked with 100 
watts, as that was all we were allowed for a few years before that.  It 
took me about 5 years of paying attention to the greyline and I was 
using a shunt fed 48 foot tower at the time, and no beverages.  And, 
yes, I'm still chasing them.
