You sure know how to pour salt in the wound. Today is my wife's birthday
and we are having a party for her at home tonight. Tomorrow night my sister
from Lebanon, TN is coming in so my chances the next couple of days is slim.
Work them often! Good Hunting!
We are on a rural coop electric company and our lights go out a lot, usually
about ten times a week. A couple of weeks ago they started going on and off
at about 4:45 a.m. one morning and kept doing that until after my wife left
for work around 7:30. That night I got home and my daughter asked me what
was wrong with the internet and I tried my PC, which is hard-wired to the
switch and it worked fine. But my wife and daughter both use notebooks that
use Wi-Fi. The up and down of the power had ruined my wireless access
point. I went to Office Depot and bought another one at $85 and I also
bought a UPS to plug my computer and networking gear in to. I really feel
for all of you up there with all the damage. If I remember correctly you do
not have any or few trees in your yard. How did all the aluminum fare?

Alan,
I lost my wifi connection so was unable to access my e-mail for a few
days. Actually the ISP located in OKC suffered major damage to the
building and power lines from trees falling. So they were down!
Glad to have it back. Speaking of being home and just to rub it in I've
worked the FJ guys on 17 CW and 20 SSB already. ;-)
