We have been without commercial power since 1700 Sunday (except for 5
hours).  Purchased a 7KW generator Wednesday afternoon. We only lack the
well pump for water and are using rain water for dishes and toilet. Carmen
stocked up with plenty of food and drinking water.

 

The towers, Yagis, and LP are fine. We lost the dipoles and am not sure if
the coaxial cables are damaged. Hundreds of trees/limbs on the ground
however, no damage to the buildings. The driveway was blocked until
Wednesday. I am thinking about getting a chipper as there looks to be many
months of cleanup ahead.

 

News reports say that 100,000 OG&E customers are without power in the OKC
area but they hope to get 80 per cent back by Sunday.
