K3KY appears to have moved the web page from from qsl.net to
angelfire.com and that piece got lost in the transition... You may find
something of interest here:

http://www.hard-core-dx.com/nordicdx/antenna/loop/flag/index.html

and here:

http://www.ok1rr.com/view.php?cisloclanku=2004122914

or here:

http://www.qsl.net/wa1ion/flag/flag_antenna.pdf

maybe here:

http://w7iuv.com/flag.htm

or in the QST article from 2000:

www.kn4lf.com/flagantenna.pdf

Note that the first two links include links to other sites (which may
prove to be repeats of the same info) but this is the start of a decent
exercise in web crawling... My search URL looked like this:

http://www.altavista.com/web/results?sourceid=mozilla-search&q=flag+and+pennant+antenna&stq=0

and may offer something for you my beady little eyes didn't catch like
this thought about matching transformers:

http://www.w8ji.com/k9ay_flag_pennant_ewe.htm

or this nicely done piece about remoting the direction adjustment of a
terminated loop:

http://members.aol.com/DXerCapeCod/pennant.htm

For all things antenna, here's my favorite site:

http://www.cebik.com/radio.html

BTW: Have been doing some clean & toss in the shack and found the two
high end JC Penney charlie brown rigs I picked up on closeout back in
'80 or so. Same board as the old Sears Roadtalker 40 inside, they had
two independent IF strips (one for AM, one for SSB) in the RX and were
considered very decent rigs from a technical standpoint. I'm thinking
one of them needs a little PLL magic to move Ch 1 to 28.265 plus a
little touch up on the alignment. Considering how many FT-101EE's made
the move in the other direction I figure that side of the road could use
the traffic... Never was much on CB, maybe I'll finally get my nickel
out of them on 10 'cuz they are kinda' pretty to look at.
