I may reserve a room just in case, but I don't know about going. it is a very difficult place to get to from an airport. Don't know about Dave or Hilberling. Dave metioned some time ago that he was going to buy an amp. I think he may have mentioned an FT-2000 sometime. Tim showed his antennas and station setup and talked about how they win the contests including how little things can make the difference between a win or second like sending a QSL for every contact and asking people to work them again in the contest. There is a move on to post all contest logs on the internet including error rates. His logs are open for anyone to analyze to try to improve their performance by seeing props and mults worked at a given time. He said he works on his station everyday in some respect. They are enhancing several towers this summer.

Visalia sounds like a much better convention than Dayton. I'll try to make
it next year. I'll go ahead and get a room on 6/18, I can always sell it to
someone if I can't make the show. Are you going to try to go? What was
Tim's presentation?

I talked with a ham friend at breakfast this a.m. and he said Dave was going
to buy a radio but he didn't know what kind. WX0B is selling Hilberling
radios. Have you seen it?
http://www.arraysolutions.com/ I've always heard that there are no bad cars
make in Germany. I wonder if it holds true for radios?
