Jim:

I forgot today is a national holiday and you are at home.  I came home
Friday night and spent 40 plus hours in bed this weekend.  I never ventured
to the ham shack.  So, if Peter One is over I have to settle for what I
have.  I was totally exhausted and I was sick on top of that.  My throat was
raw with drainage.  I came home and took some Nyquil and cough medicine and
went to bed at seven and got up at 11:30 Saturday morning.  I went back to
bed around three and slept until seven and was back in bed by nine.  I spent
most of yesterday in bed, also.  I do not know if I will make it through
today or not.  I am feeling a little better but I am awful weak.

I ended up with five contacts on four bands and two modes.  It was not what
I wanted but between working so much and getting sick, that is all I could
squeeze in.  I guess I will get my card ready and get it in the mail this
week even though it will probably be months before the cards start coming
out.  Maybe by Huntsville in August we might start getting the cards in.

I am going to rest up this week and try to get my feet back under me.  I
will start studying for my Microsoft exam, also.  Our class got postponed
for a month because the college forgot to renew their Microsoft teaching
papers and they cannot get the study materials.  They might use
non-Microsoft material to study by.  I will start cramming for the exam now
and try to get that behind me.  What did you do this weekend?  How much
rain, snow, and ice did you guys get this weekend?  It drizzled here most of
the weekend and will do so most of this week.  It is still drizzling out
there now.  You did well considering your antenna setup.  There were a lot
of people around here with limited antenna situations.
