Hi John,
I didn't need them, but wanted to work them on CW and on the lower bands. I
made band fills on 17m-40m CW and 30m RTTY. I heard them on 160m when they
thought NA was dead and they were working EU. I had a lot of fun when I got
to chase them. When I would work them I would cheer! Using a ladder line
dipole does that for you, hihi.

How did others do on working 3Y0X. They were an all time new one for me
here, and I worked them 4 times: 20 SSB, 30CW, 17CW and 20CW. They were
loudest on 30 meters most of the time. The pileups on 40 never really got
small enough for them to be managable with my small setup. I did hear them
faintly on 10 meters 1 day, and I learned that I need to get something
better up for the WARC bands. Never really heard them on 12 even though
they were spotted all around me. They were #309 mixed here, and probably
#290 or so on CW.
