Here is the latest from Peter 1. See http://www.peterone.com/updates.htm for
their progress.

"We leave the hotel 5am EST Feb 1 for the airport, depart at 6AM est for
KGI.  We will tour the bases and visit the penguins.  This is a standard day
trip for many tourists.  We then board the ship.  It is unclear when we
weigh anchor and sail.  Plan is to have Carolina Windom between the two
masts for 20m up, a dipole for 30m, and a vertical for lower bands.  Two
full stations with computers and amps set up to train and understand all the
equipment before deploying to the island. 
We may be at the island by 5 FEB.  Weather conditions will determine how
long it will take to set up and get on the air. 
As soon as we get e-mail working under sail, you will hear from us again. it
could be 48 hours from now.  All team members are EXCITED and anxious to get
to the island.  We are having a GREAT time and getting to meld into a single
unit - "100,000 QSOs" is the rally cry!! ”
