While I don't think I was buying any wire at GC I confess the  ignorant extra 
that Nelson referred to could hv been me.
 
After hving a long hiatus from the necessity of any antenna  building I 
decided to add an 80m dipole to my station. Afters years I could not  remember the 
formula. I can never remember after a prolonged period whether the  factor is 
492 or 468.
 
Thankfully my antenna and contest Guru W5TM is always a phone  call away.
There are some of us not all that technically or theoretically  endowed, nor 
having any time or real interest in becoming so. Which makes having  an Elmer 
like Ed a real blessing.
 
My interpretation of the extra class and those who have  achieved it at the 
20 WPM requirement is a deep respect for the commitment  necessary. Hving been 
able to do so I stand with pride in their  midst.
