Years back when I became active again and listened to the "activity" on 75 
meters, I mentioned it to a G station one time on 15 meters.  His response 
seemed to be appropriate.  He said he considered 75 meters to be the armpit 
of amateur radio!  I haven't come up with any better description for much 
of the action up there and that was 10 or so years ago!.
