[OKDXA] VU7 Operation - January 2007

Thanks again, Bert.

I did a quick search for VU7LD and found that site;dunno how I missed
it previously. Thanks for your reference, though. Only recently have
I gotten my station at my new QTH ready for action. Forgetting to
connect driven elements to the transmission line didn't help, Neither
did putting the antennas on the mast 180 deg in the wrong direction.
It's embarrassing, but there it is.

Propagation between hither and yon is certainly challenging. I heard
them on 15 m a few mornings ago, but figured they were way to weak to
work. Turns out that I was wrong and that I should have given it a
shot. I guess they're a bunny rabbit -- all ears and no mouth, as
opposed to an alligator.

Cheers,

Kim Elmore, N5OP
