[OKDXA] DX COPS AMD MALICIOUS QRM

Jim,

I remember on one of our trips to Palau an incident that
boggled my mind.  I was working a JA pileup simplex.  I was
picking up letters and responding with something like "The station
with a Y in the suffix, your call?".  I would then work several
stations with Y in their suffix and then back to the pileup to pick out
another letter.  When I thought I heard an R, I asked for the station
with the R.  The frequency was totally silent.  You could hear a
pin drop.  I must have imagined the R but the point is that the JA
ops were that polite.  The Euros were the worst and the Americas
close behind.  I think most of what we are hearing isn't new, there's
just more of it!  :-(

I have even responded to people and asked them to leave

I was not going to work them. That helps to clean up the pileup.
