[OKDXA] DX COPS AMD MALICIOUS QRM

Jim,
I remember on one of our trips to Palau an incident that
boggled my mind. I was working a JA pileup simplex. I was
picking up letters and responding with something like "The station
with a Y in the suffix, your call?". I would then work several
stations with Y in their suffix and then back to the pileup to pick out
another letter. When I thought I heard an R, I asked for the station
with the R. The frequency was totally silent. You could hear a
pin drop. I must have imagined the R but the point is that the JA
ops were that polite. The Euros were the worst and the Americas
close behind. I think most of what we are hearing isn't new, there's
just more of it! :-(

I have even responded to people and asked them to leave
