I don't know too much. I know Charlie, K4VUD seems to be involved, perhaps unilaterally. He is promoting it, and saying that they need funds. He seemed to be collecting fund, but apparently someone put a stop to that.

The have some experience from 15-20 years ago. I know it is possible to get a license to go to the Andamans, but the real question is will they survive the "security" that has been known to shut down other "legal" operations. Perhaps only time will tell. I have no indication that it's a scam, but I don't have much info.

I talked to Bernie McCLenney today, mostly about the prospects of being able to operate and not be shut down, and he didn't seem to have any more info. I really hope they can pull it off.
